ep 13 | january 2023 astrology forecast and why you may want to stay flexible with those new year’s resolutions

This month, I’m teaming up with my astro BFF Dana of Self Help Witch (peep her as my first guest on the podcast in episode 2!) to talk about the key energies for January. We are keeping things simple and focused on the planetary events that are going to affect us the most: planets exiting retrograde and planets changing signs. January is a month of big shifts, with three planets stationing direct (hello end of retrograde season!). We give you the exact dates of each planet’s pre-retrograde shadow, retrograde period, and post-retrograde shadow so you can see what was/is/and will be going on in your life during each time.

We also talk about:

  • Why I am leaving horoscopes behind and my astrological renaissance
  • The energetic evolution with the shift from Sagittarius season to Capricorn season to Aquarius season
  • How to use our intuition to guide us
  • Our own personal ideals of Mars retrograde and how it actually turned out
  • The opportunity retrograde planets give us
  • Dana’s experience with the Uranus-Pluto transit, which has been more about boundaries and karmic obligations than financial issues
  • The full moon in Cancer
  • Why the planetary energies are inviting you to be flexible with any new year’s resolutions
  • Venus changing signs twice this month
  • The Sun moving into Aquarius

“Go ahead and set your intentions if you want, on January 1st, and then let it be okay if they change and let it be okay if new stuff comes up that makes you wanna recalibrate as we move through Aquarius season and into the Equinox.”

Speaker:

Hello, hello, hello, happy new year.

Speaker:

Happy 2023.

Speaker:

Welcome back to It's Astrological.

Speaker:

I'm your host Lynette.

Speaker:

I'm the founder of cosmic moves astrology.

Speaker:

And I'm so happy to be in your ears today, whether you're listening to this.

Speaker:

In real time when it comes out in January or some other time, it is

Speaker:

the perfect time to be together.

Speaker:

Our time here in this cozy cosmically chic corner of the internet.

Speaker:

Is all about taking a look at astrology through the lens of self care and using

Speaker:

the magic of astrology to understand.

Speaker:

Ourselves and the world around us and just have a little bit

Speaker:

of context to what's going on.

Speaker:

And I'm super excited because this episode is the first of many.

Speaker:

with a new take on forecasts.

Speaker:

And astrology forecasts.

Speaker:

And the month ahead.

Speaker:

For those of you who have been following me for a while.

Speaker:

I have a newsletter called the constellation.

Speaker:

I am on a bit of a hiatus right now, but I usually send it out

Speaker:

every Sunday and every Sunday it has some sort of astrological forecast.

Speaker:

And I'm going to make a confession right now.

Speaker:

That, that was always the hardest part of the newsletter.

Speaker:

And oftentimes it's the part that made me not want to write the newsletter.

Speaker:

And it's not because I don't think forecasts are important.

Speaker:

Otherwise I wouldn't be recording this podcast right now.

Speaker:

But it's because I just personally don't really like doing horoscopes.

Speaker:

And there are also a million astrologers out there who do it way better than I do.

Speaker:

And who love it.

Speaker:

Including my dear friend, Dana from self-help witch, who.

Speaker:

I am now doing this series of forecast podcasts with.

Speaker:

And it's so much more fun and it makes it so much easier for me to talk

Speaker:

about the energies and what's ahead.

Speaker:

And we talk about in this episode, I'm going through a bit of an

Speaker:

astrological Renaissance myself.

Speaker:

I have really kind of fallen off the habit of paying attention to any astrology.

Speaker:

Um, and it's an interesting perspective because I'm getting back into it and

Speaker:

I'm reconnecting to my passion for it.

Speaker:

And that's what I hope to share with all of you, because whether

Speaker:

you're experienced or not.

Speaker:

this is kind of.

Speaker:

My way of dipping my toe back in, and I hope to be able to share that with

Speaker:

you to make astrology more accessible and not confusing and not overwhelming.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Dana and I talk about new years and what it means and what it doesn't mean.

Speaker:

You will also learn that I am not a big fan of the Gregorian calendar new year.

Speaker:

Not because it's not important because it's a collective energy

Speaker:

of everyone being together on the same page and it's so full of hope

Speaker:

and optimism, and I love that part.

Speaker:

Um, but there are astrological reasons why I'm a fan of other personal new years.

Speaker:

And we also talk about the major transits, which is what one would

Speaker:

expect from a forecast episode.

Speaker:

So we're talking retrogrades, we're talking planets changing signs.

Speaker:

And overall, we just had a really good time.

Speaker:

It's not too serious.

Speaker:

It's not too technical.

Speaker:

And I hope it's helpful to you as we embark on this month where we're

Speaker:

all feeling the energy of just starting fresh and making a plan.

Speaker:

And it's almost a little bit of that, like, Virgo back to school

Speaker:

vibe where you're like, okay, I'm going to get my stuff together.

Speaker:

I'm going to just put everything in order.

Speaker:

And then we talk about why if you feel like that's not working for you.

Speaker:

That's okay.

Speaker:

Because that's what the planetary energies are encouraging you to do is to revise

Speaker:

and to take another look and to come back and revisit everything at a later date.

Speaker:

It's okay.

Speaker:

If you weren't hitting the January 1st goals within the first month of january.

Speaker:

Don't worry about it.

Speaker:

No stress.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Off we go, here we go.

Speaker:

We're going to talk about January.

Speaker:

Wishing you.

Speaker:

Uh, super.

Speaker:

Happy fulfilling, productive.

Speaker:

Um, goal oriented.

Speaker:

What other Capricorn word's going to use.

Speaker:

Just wishing you a great January.

Speaker:

I'll be back in a couple of weeks with another episode.

Speaker:

we're getting back into the flow of things.

Speaker:

That's what Capricorn season is for to get us back on the path.

Speaker:

Get me back on the path that I'm going to speak from the I here.

Speaker:

And I'm just so grateful to be back with you all.

Speaker:

So please enjoy this episode.

Speaker:

If you find it helpful, if you find it amusing.

Speaker:

If you think one of your friends would benefit from hearing what the energies

Speaker:

of this month have in store, please share, please DM me or Dana on Instagram.

Speaker:

I am at cosmic.moves.

Speaker:

She is at selfhelpwitch and we're just getting started here.

Speaker:

So we would love to hear what you think love to hear what you

Speaker:

want to hear more of love to hear what you want to hear less of.

Speaker:

We're totally open to it all.

Speaker:

So wishing you happy rest of capricorn season start of

Speaker:

aquarius season and here we go

Dana:

All right everyone.

Dana:

I am Dana with Self-Help Witch, and

Lynnette:

I am Lynette from Cosmic Moves Astrology.

Dana:

And we are here doing a little team effort to bring you the key energies

Dana:

astrologically for January of 2023.

Dana:

We thought it would be really fun to do a joint venture with this.

Lynnette:

Yeah, and I think I'm the one who proposed it because I.

Lynnette:

Don't like doing horoscopes.

Lynnette:

and my sweet Dana here put in so much work with her 2023 Astro Planner, which

Lynnette:

you can buy from her website that I was like, Hey, can I hop on your gravy

Lynnette:

train and , just do a podcast with you?

Lynnette:

So I don't have to do horoscopes in my newsletter, but I am just

Lynnette:

super excited because I think that.

Lynnette:

fun to talk to somebody who knows about astrology, but

Lynnette:

who you're also friends with.

Lynnette:

So you can talk about real life things that align with Astrological energies.

Dana:

Yes.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

You guys listening may not know.

Dana:

Lynnette and I are astro pals.

Dana:

We talk like every two weeks.

Dana:

Mm-hmm.

Lynnette:

and we just, but we text a lot in between.

Dana:

That's true.

Dana:

Like, we're like actually friends . Yes.

Dana:

So, but we both obviously practice astrology too, so.

Dana:

. I think it's gonna be useful for everybody, but also fun too.

Dana:

Should

Lynnette:

we dive into what's going on in January?

Lynnette:

Yes.

Dana:

Yeah, we got kind of a theme going.

Dana:

Do you wanna talk about it?

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

I think in general, when I look at a month ahead, the things that

Lynnette:

stick out to me are retrograde.

Lynnette:

Or when planets are stationing direct and when planets are changing signs.

Lynnette:

I think those two areas are things that we collectively feel a shift in the

Lynnette:

energy, and then even more so if you know where those are happening in your chart,

Lynnette:

that just gives you more information.

Lynnette:

But when you know when we're gonna have these kind of bigger, energetic shifts,

Lynnette:

it just allows you to understand why the world feels the way it does around those.

Dana:

A hundred percent.

Dana:

And I think it like when you're trying to get a feel for the month

Dana:

ahead, that's, those are really good like anchor points because there's

Dana:

so much happening all the time.

Dana:

It's easy to get lost and like, unless you're looking at the transits

Dana:

with your actual birth chart, it's probably best to just focus on

Dana:

the ingress, is the lunar cycle.

Dana:

And then as you said, you know, stationing, director,

Dana:

retrograde, those kinds of things.

Lynnette:

Yeah, and I think, you know, we've talked about this, not on this.

Lynnette:

Four minutes of this podcast, but I personally have been really struggling

Lynnette:

with keeping up with astrology and you know, as an astrologer that has

Lynnette:

like been an identity crisis for me

Lynnette:

So I'm with everyone who either is just learning or who also has kind of fallen

Lynnette:

off tracking what's going on in the stars and all of that stuff where it's

Lynnette:

like, okay, where can I kind of jump back in without it being a big deal?

Lynnette:

Or stressful or overwhelming or any of that stuff.

Lynnette:

And like you said, these are anchor points.

Lynnette:

Like these are the big shifts that will impact everybody to differing degrees.

Lynnette:

And I can keep track of five days in a month like , I can work with that.

Dana:

Right, right.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

We've got, it's an interesting month, I think, because there's

Dana:

three planets stationing direct.

Lynnette:

Mm.

Lynnette:

. Well, you can tell we're leaving retrograde season.

Lynnette:

That's what that tells me.

Lynnette:

. Mm-hmm.

Lynnette:

. Mm-hmm.

Lynnette:

. Dana: Yeah.

Lynnette:

I'm not mad about it.

Lynnette:

It's a nice time.

Lynnette:

You know, at the beginning of January, and we're gonna probably publish this

Lynnette:

right at the beginning of January.

Lynnette:

So if you already like set your New Year's resolutions, your

Lynnette:

intentions, you know, you might change your mind , and that's okay.

Lynnette:

Like it's okay to change your mind.

Lynnette:

It's kind of, we're still in flux here at the beginning of the

Lynnette:

month as things start to station.

Lynnette:

. Lynnette: Yeah, and I think, you

Lynnette:

call it a pressure, but like social event, collective idea that we have

Lynnette:

to start the new year on January 1st, which is really kind of arbitrary if

Lynnette:

you're talking about the Gregorian calendar and all of that stuff.

Lynnette:

I am a firm believer that my personal New year, which starts on

Lynnette:

my birthday, is more impactful for me just from a Astrological perspective

Lynnette:

and how I feel about it, but I.

Lynnette:

There is something to the fact that we move from Sagittarius season, which is,

Lynnette:

you know, up until about Christmas, but like that whole time when people are

Lynnette:

putting up Christmas lights and thinking about parties and the optimism of a new

Lynnette:

year starting and wrapping up the year.

Lynnette:

And then you move into Capricorn season, which is very much around setting goals

Lynnette:

and figuring out what mountain you wanna climb and you know, all of that stuff.

Lynnette:

But then we move into, Aquarius season at the end of January, which I think allows

Lynnette:

you to get a bit of perspective, right?

Lynnette:

It, it lifts you up to that 30,000 foot view.

Lynnette:

And Aquarius is the observer of the Zodiac.

Lynnette:

So even if you do align with the January 1st goal setting and all that

Lynnette:

stuff, entering into Aquarius season is almost a second chance to be.

Lynnette:

, hold on, let me like take a step back.

Lynnette:

Did I set goals the way that I wanted to do, I wanna revise

Lynnette:

them, like all of that stuff.

Lynnette:

And so it may kind of take a little bit of that pressure off.

Dana:

Totally.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

I love that.

Dana:

And starting with your birthday as like your personal new year, and then I know

Dana:

you also treat the Equinox like a lot of.

Dana:

In this space do like a new year as well, so, mm-hmm.

Dana:

, you know, go ahead and set your intentions if you want, on January 1st, and then

Dana:

let it be okay if they change and let it be okay if new stuff comes up that makes

Dana:

you wanna recalibrate as we move through Aquarius season and into the Equinox.

Lynnette:

We have all the chances in the world.

Lynnette:

Like there is no, nobody is telling you, you have to make your goals on

Lynnette:

January 1st and keep them all year, because I think we all know that those

Lynnette:

goals usually don't stick according to data or whoever decides that according

Dana:

to data and every uh, new Year's resolution I've ever had in my life,

Lynnette:

So give yourself grace.

Lynnette:

The cosmos are aligning with.

Lynnette:

Becoming the best version of you all the way throughout the year.

Lynnette:

It's not a a one and done kind of thing.

Lynnette:

Love it.

Dana:

So what's on the docket?

Dana:

What are we tracking in January?

Lynnette:

Okay, so we have three planets, stationing,

Lynnette:

direct, Mercury, Mars, and Uran.

Lynnette:

, Mercury and Mars are what we call personal planets because they impact

Lynnette:

us more in our personal charts.

Lynnette:

When they station retrograde or direct.

Lynnette:

Then Uranus is an outer planet, which doesn't impact us as directly

Lynnette:

while it's retrograde, but we may feel it more personally around

Lynnette:

the time that it's stations.

Lynnette:

Around that stations retrograde or direct is Mercury retrograde right

Lynnette:

now because I cannot get my work done.

Dana:

It will be when we publish,

Lynnette:

but yes, , so we have that and then we have the Sun will

Lynnette:

be in Capricorn and then it'll move into Aquarius at the end of January.

Lynnette:

And then Venus is just zipping along because she is moving into Aquarius and

Lynnette:

Pisces all within the month of January.

Dana:

It's a lot of movement, a lot of shifting.

Dana:

I guess that's all I had to say about that.

Dana:

. Lynnette: Great.

Dana:

Moving on,

Dana:

. Dana: It's a lot of shifting the end.

Lynnette:

Yes.

Lynnette:

Goodbye everybody.

Lynnette:

Thank you for listening.

Lynnette:

. Okay, well, why don't we start with Mercury?

Lynnette:

Yeah, let's start with Mercury.

Lynnette:

Okay.

Lynnette:

Because I feel like everyone.

Lynnette:

knows about Mercury slash worries about it being retrograde

Dana:

Yes.

Dana:

Uh, we will be in prime, like Mercury retrograde freakout, I

Dana:

think when this gets published, yes.

Dana:

Don't listen to the hype guys.

Dana:

I love Mercury Retrogrades and maybe that's, I don't know, maybe

Dana:

that's just a personal thing.

Dana:

I know that things can get bamboozled and weird, but they

Dana:

ultimately are really helpful.

Dana:

It's just like any other.

Dana:

I don't know, mishap or confusion, those things need to come up so

Dana:

that you can figure something out.

Dana:

So don't be afraid of it.

Dana:

Just let it happen.

Dana:

It's gonna happen like regardless of if you're scared of it or not, but

Dana:

you might as well just be open to it and see what you can uncover that

Dana:

you wouldn't have noticed before.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

Rick Levine says this, but they're a chance for us to get things right.

Lynnette:

Any retrograde, because a retrograde is, is crossing the same part of the

Lynnette:

sky and or your chart three times.

Lynnette:

So the first time it goes across it before it stations, it's giving you

Lynnette:

clues as to what's gonna come up during that time so that you know

Lynnette:

what you're gonna be working on when it's stations and starts to move back.

Lynnette:

That's your time to be like, okay, what came up for me during this time

Lynnette:

that it was coming up to the spot and.

Lynnette:

, what issues am I having?

Lynnette:

What challenges am I facing?

Lynnette:

What do I wanna work on in my internal world?

Lynnette:

Because it's a time to turn inward and think about things,

Lynnette:

especially with Mercury.

Lynnette:

And then when it stations direct, it crosses that part

Lynnette:

of the sky for a third time.

Lynnette:

before it clears its shadow, which is the time where, okay, planet's moving forward.

Lynnette:

It's picking up speed.

Lynnette:

So are you, you are figuring out what did you learn, what do you wanna

Lynnette:

implement from the things that you planned or thought of during that time?

Lynnette:

So it's not scary , right?

Lynnette:

It's only scary if you're afraid to do the work or like it's, it's

Lynnette:

bringing some shadow stuff up pre, which a hundred percent understand.

Lynnette:

I also do not enjoy those things, but it's a real opportunity.

Lynnette:

So I'll get off my soapbox.

Lynnette:

, that

Dana:

was great.

Dana:

I love it.

Dana:

And helpful too, because it gives people some touch points.

Dana:

So here are the key dates for our Mercury retrograde and that we're

Dana:

gonna start the new year with the pre retrograde shadow begins December

Dana:

12th, 2022, and then Mercury station's retrograde December 29th, 2022.

Dana:

It will station direct January 18th, 2023, and then it will

Dana:

clear its post retrograde shadow.

Dana:

On February 7th,

Lynnette:

happy birthday to me.

Lynnette:

That being said, though, I think it's important to call out.

Lynnette:

I have Natal Mercury, retrograde as to about one third of everybody on

Lynnette:

the planet because Mercury is usually retrograde about a third of the time.

Lynnette:

So yet another reason to not be afraid because a third of the

Lynnette:

population was born when Mercury was retrograde, and we are all doing fine.

Lynnette:

So, Just another consideration.

Lynnette:

It happened four times in 2022 because of December 29th.

Lynnette:

So . Wow.

Dana:

Rude.

Dana:

So what do you wanna call out about this Mercury retrograde Lynnette?

Lynnette:

Well, when Mercury stations direct, It will be in a really favorable

Lynnette:

conversation with the north node.

Lynnette:

The north node is a point in the sky that is associated with fate and

Lynnette:

destiny and the lessons that we're meant to learn in this lifetime.

Lynnette:

So when we're talking about Mercury being trine that north

Lynnette:

node on the 18th, because Mercury.

Lynnette:

will be stationing, he'll be moving pretty slowly, he'll be stopped.

Lynnette:

So that whole day is a really interesting vibe with your communication, your

Lynnette:

thoughts, your connections to find flow with either something that feels

Lynnette:

fated, F A T E D, where it's very much a day where like if you get a download

Lynnette:

to do something, like follow it.

Lynnette:

Like if you get a ping.

Lynnette:

Follow it.

Lynnette:

Listen to your gut.

Lynnette:

And then the other thing when the nodes are involved is you will always

Lynnette:

have a choice because there's a north node and a south node, and we always

Lynnette:

have a choice to decide are we going to stretch ourselves and go toward

Lynnette:

what we're meant to be learning?

Lynnette:

Or do we wanna stay in our comfort zone and be cozy?

Lynnette:

Both of them are okay, one is not better than the other, but that

Lynnette:

day is a marker for everyone to.

Lynnette:

Listen to your intuition and then be very intentional about

Lynnette:

the choices that you're making.

Dana:

A hundred percent.

Dana:

Especially with Mercury stationing direct.

Dana:

That's really emphasizing everything you just said.

Dana:

So it's a great time too to reflect back on those touchpoint dates we mentioned

Dana:

earlier and just kind of see what, what insight you can weave together, because

Dana:

that's probably gonna be coming up again, and it's probably gonna be pretty.

Dana:

January 18th,

Lynnette:

you have from the 18th to the seventh as that integration period.

Lynnette:

So that trine to, the north node is saying like, Hey, the

Lynnette:

universe is speaking to you today.

Lynnette:

You have the free will to make choices.

Lynnette:

How are you going to implement everything that you learned from the 29th to the

Lynnette:

18th before the seventh comes around?

Lynnette:

And like you fully have the universe's support.

Lynnette:

It's a real astrological, like, boost to that.

Dana:

Now, there is another key date within this Mercury retrograde

Dana:

that happens in every Mercury retrograde, and it's the Kazimi.

Dana:

So I wanna talk about that because first of all, it's just

Dana:

like a key moment in the cycle.

Dana:

But also this one's kind of interesting because it happens.

Dana:

just a day later, like even less than 24 hours after the full Moon in cancer.

Dana:

So first of all, a kazimi is the moment in the Mercury retrograde cycle where

Dana:

Mercury is in the heart of the Sun.

Dana:

It's conjunct the Sun.

Dana:

And what is happening is it's getting like a solar infusion.

Dana:

And if we think about the symbolism of the Sun and Mercury, Mercury being

Dana:

your intellect, your communications.

Dana:

your analytical prowess, your sense of humor even, and analytical Sun prowess.

Lynnette:

Wow.

Lynnette:

You like that?

Lynnette:

You like that flowed right

Dana:

out.

Dana:

. I like words, you know?

Lynnette:

Of course you do.

Lynnette:

That was just beautiful.

Lynnette:

I couldn't let that one just slip by.

Lynnette:

. Dana: Thank you.

Lynnette:

Thank you.

Lynnette:

Yeah, so it's all those things and then the Sun being like our core ambitions, our

Lynnette:

spirit, so it's just really helping us.

Lynnette:

Become revitalized.

Lynnette:

It's a turning point in the cycle as a whole, and I think it's really interesting

Lynnette:

that it happens so close to that new, or I'm sorry, that full Moon in cancer

Lynnette:

because that's a really nice full Moon.

Lynnette:

Anytime the moon's in cancer.

Lynnette:

We're talking about comfort, we're talking about stability,

Lynnette:

we're talking about coziness.

Lynnette:

Thank.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

I don't know if either of us will publish the video of this, but I'm

Lynnette:

doing this weird hand gesture of.

Lynnette:

I'm thinking about like togetherness and like being with your people, even though

Lynnette:

that seems more like a Venus thing.

Lynnette:

When I think about the Moon in cancer, I do think about family

Lynnette:

and like your people, like being around your people, you know?

Lynnette:

Yep.

Lynnette:

So there's something culminating around this time due to the full Moon, but also

Lynnette:

due to the Kazimi, there's something that's really coming to a head regarding.

Lynnette:

Cancer Capricorn Axis and all of your imperial things.

Lynnette:

So that's the data to paying attention to.

Lynnette:

That was January 6th is the full Moon, and January 7th is the Kmi.

Lynnette:

I love that.

Lynnette:

So we've covered pretty much the whole month of January

Lynnette:

for Mercury . That's good.

Lynnette:

And then we have, let's see.

Lynnette:

Do you wanna talk about the next re the next station or,

Dana:

yeah, let's talk about Mars.

Dana:

Okay.

Dana:

I was

Lynnette:

avoiding it, but

Dana:

go ahead, . So let's talk about

Lynnette:

Mars.

Lynnette:

So Mars is stationing direct on January 12th.

Lynnette:

man, that like middle of January is really popping.

Dana:

It really is.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

Yes.

Dana:

There's, there's a lot happening here and you guys have probably heard all

Dana:

about Mars retrograde, cuz it's been, it feels like it's been an eternity that

Dana:

Mars has been in Gemini since August, the end of August, I wanna say the

Dana:

22nd or 24th or something like that.

Dana:

It's been retrograde since the end of October and it's

Dana:

finally stationing direct on

Lynnette:

January 12th.

Lynnette:

But it doesn't clear its shadow until March 15th.

Lynnette:

. Thank

Dana:

you.

Dana:

Yeah, so we're still gonna be in the, in the mix of the, well we can talk about it.

Dana:

So this transit we've actually lived through as opposed to the Mercury

Dana:

retrograde, because we're recording this ahead of time, obviously, but, but we've

Dana:

lived through most of it at this point, and I think both Linda and I have some

Dana:

things to say, about Mars retrograde.

Lynnette:

Well, and I think Mars retrograde happens every two

Lynnette:

years, two and a half years.

Lynnette:

Is that right?

Lynnette:

Sounds right Ish.

Lynnette:

Sounds right.

Lynnette:

So it's something that we don't live with three times a year like Mercury,

Lynnette:

because Mars moves slower than Mercury.

Lynnette:

And I think the other part of it is that Mars is the planet of action.

Lynnette:

Mars is the god of war.

Lynnette:

Mars does not want to slow down.

Lynnette:

So , I think more than any other planet when.

Lynnette:

moves backward.

Lynnette:

There's maybe more resistance in that energy to to fight it, right?

Lynnette:

Cuz Mars is like, no, no, no, no, no.

Lynnette:

I don't wanna slow down, keep my foot on the gas.

Lynnette:

And then there's just something like holding it back.

Lynnette:

And so, . I think for me, I was very optimistic about this because

Lynnette:

I have many retrograde planets.

Lynnette:

I like when things slow down.

Lynnette:

I like living in my inner world, and this particular Mars retrograde was

Lynnette:

crossing directly over my midheaven.

Lynnette:

Three times, like we talked about what a retrograde does, and Dana and

Lynnette:

I were talking like maybe a month ago and I was like, you know what?

Lynnette:

This is gonna be so good for me.

Lynnette:

This is gonna be so good for my business.

Lynnette:

I'm gonna just like, really think about what I want and like, you

Lynnette:

know, just take action on it slowly.

Lynnette:

And I had all these dreams, how great it was gonna be.

Lynnette:

, but you know what, Mars did?

Lynnette:

Mars retrograde completely shut me down.

Lynnette:

. I have, like I said at the beginning, I have not been

Lynnette:

paying attention to astrology.

Lynnette:

I have just, I mean, I, I'm frozen like I have j Everything has just

Lynnette:

grinded to a halt, which is fine.

Lynnette:

Like we have to, speaking of aligning with the energies, right?

Lynnette:

Like that's what's happening.

Lynnette:

I'm not gonna fight against it like Mars might be when he's in retrograde.

Lynnette:

My mercurial mind.

Lynnette:

Be like, no, you have to keep doing things.

Lynnette:

But when the universe invites me to pause and to reflect, I'm gonna do it.

Lynnette:

And so there's a tension for me between the push and pull and the go and the Type

Lynnette:

A and you know, all of the things that we deal with in the 3D world, but it,

Lynnette:

it has not turned out as peacefully and.

Lynnette:

Inspirationally as I thought it was going to

Lynnette:

Mm-hmm.

Lynnette:

. I'm right there with

Dana:

you.

Dana:

I was also optimistic because I have Natal Mars in Gemini.

Dana:

I have my Moon in Jupiter in Gemini too, and I just thought.

Dana:

This is gonna be great for my long-term plans cuz the Gemini's in my ninth house.

Dana:

I'm gonna really figure some things out and like go for it.

Dana:

I don't know why I thought that, because again, we're talking about a

Dana:

retrograde, but I just thought it was gonna help me maybe clarify some things.

Dana:

Yes.

Dana:

What happened?

Dana:

it.

Dana:

It was like, uh, I will say like overall it's been a very confusing time and I

Dana:

think that I fought the rest that it was trying to facilitate, so I made

Dana:

the choice to participate in this like Black Friday sale extravaganza.

Dana:

. It was great.

Dana:

I'm glad I did it, but it was like pushing against the grain

Dana:

the whole time as far as my energy goes, and I ended up getting covid.

Dana:

Now I don't think I got covid because I was working hard, but I was like

Dana:

pulling, you know, I was working all weekend and then going to work five

Dana:

days a week and it was too much.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

And I think my body got run down and I'm still congen.

Dana:

, I tested positive for Covid the week after Thanksgiving, and I'm still congested.

Dana:

It's December 23rd, like

Lynnette:

the good news is by March 15th you should be fine.

Lynnette:

. Dana: I'll be able to breathe

Lynnette:

Oh my God, I hope.

Lynnette:

Yeah, so I think that I, I didn't consider what Mars retrograde really wanted for

Lynnette:

me, which was really to just like lay off.

Lynnette:

and rest and let things kind of unfold.

Lynnette:

So I think that might be my Mars retrograde lesson is like really allow

Lynnette:

yourself to clear your, your schedule.

Lynnette:

Like don't push.

Lynnette:

Because if you do, and I'm sure it didn't help that Mars is squaring my Pisces

Lynnette:

Telium in my sixth house of health.

Lynnette:

Like that has something to do with this I'm sure.

Lynnette:

But if you.

Lynnette:

it might not go well.

Lynnette:

. Lynnette: Mm-hmm.

Lynnette:

. Yeah.

Lynnette:

And I think with the station on January 12th, that's the time for you to,

Lynnette:

to kind of maybe counterintuitively apply the lessons that you've learned.

Lynnette:

And, you know, we still have that whole period until the 15th, so.

Lynnette:

as your astrologer.

Lynnette:

I would recommend focusing on rest after that time.

Lynnette:

Yes, I think I

Dana:

probably won't have a choice for those of you who don't know

Dana:

what's about to have a baby in the beginning of February, so I will

Dana:

be resting even if I don't want to

Lynnette:

forced rest.

Lynnette:

That's another lesson of not listening to Mars retrograde

Lynnette:

. . Dana: Definitely.

Lynnette:

Well, we'll be glad when we get past that and, and really too Lynnette,

Lynnette:

that's another reason to not like push on your New Year's resolutions.

Lynnette:

Like give yourself a week to ease into it.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

I just, I don't know.

Lynnette:

I think New Year's resolutions are kind of silly, so take that.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

With a grain of salt for everybody listening, if you are

Lynnette:

a New Year's resolution person.

Lynnette:

So proud of you.

Lynnette:

You are probably a Capricorn.

Lynnette:

. Dana: Lynette thinks your

Lynnette:

That's, I don't think your resolutions

Lynnette:

are stupid.

Lynnette:

I just think that like we change so much in a year and like to think that

Lynnette:

something you decide on day one of a 365 day period is going to reflect

Lynnette:

the person that you evolve into over the course of a whole year is like,

Lynnette:

it doesn't give you any flexibility.

Lynnette:

That's all

Dana:

I'm.

Dana:

. Yes.

Dana:

And then you set yourself up for feeling bad about yourself when it, like, you

Dana:

shouldn't, you know, my friend Allison did something really cool one year where

Dana:

she, and you could adapt this to be like every zoia season instead of every month,

Dana:

but each month she did something new, like she had a, a thing that she would try.

Dana:

And I, I loved that because it.

Dana:

this thing where if you don't do it, you fail.

Dana:

Mm-hmm.

Dana:

, it's like this is something that's flexible and will

Dana:

benefit me no matter what.

Dana:

And it can be silly.

Dana:

It can be like, go, well go to a park Isn't silly, but it could be silly.

Dana:

Right?

Dana:

Like some people may

Lynnette:

never have been to a park or that

Dana:

specific park.

Dana:

Right.

Dana:

Right.

Dana:

So, but I think that that would be a cool thing to do.

Dana:

Like if you really want to.

Dana:

Set an intention.

Dana:

Yeah, make it

Lynnette:

flexible.

Lynnette:

Make it flexible.

Lynnette:

I would also say if you're like aligning with new things, maybe try

Lynnette:

to align it with your north node and like energies around your north node,

Lynnette:

because that's all about going out of your comfort zone, trying new things.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

If you're North nodes in Taurus, you should go to the

Dana:

park.

Dana:

. Totally.

Dana:

Yes.

Dana:

What do you think?

Dana:

Should we talk about

Lynnette:

Uranus?

Lynnette:

Yes.

Lynnette:

Lettuce.

Lynnette:

Let us wrap up with Uranus.

Lynnette:

. Okay, so Uranus, stationed retrograde on August 24th.

Lynnette:

Does everybody remember the summer?

Lynnette:

I do.

Lynnette:

I miss it.

Lynnette:

It's so cold.

Lynnette:

. Dana: It's the wind

Lynnette:

today.

Lynnette:

Yeah, that was us yesterday, but we're releasing this in the future,

Lynnette:

so who knows what the temperature will be on the day this comes out and.

Lynnette:

, it's stations direct on January 15th.

Lynnette:

Again, that middle of January is really happen, and then because

Lynnette:

Uranus moves so slowly, it doesn't clear its shadow until May 9th.

Lynnette:

So here's where I think it's important to talk about the difference between the

Lynnette:

inner planets or the personal planets and the outer planets because these inner

Lynnette:

planets, as you literally just heard with Mars, affect us more on a personal level.

Lynnette:

Like in our charts.

Lynnette:

You heard Dana and I.

Lynnette:

Talk about where it was and what it was crossing and all of that stuff.

Lynnette:

Really anything beyond Jupiter and Saturn, cuz those are often called transpersonal

Lynnette:

plans cuz they can kind of go either way.

Lynnette:

So Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and if you're into it, some of the asteroids

Lynnette:

or planetoids or whatever we're calling them these days, but we don't necessarily

Lynnette:

feel the impact of their retrogrades personally because they move so slowly.

Lynnette:

So they're retrograde for like half the year or.

Lynnette:

Five months or four months, and it's just like a really long time.

Lynnette:

But what we do feel is because they are heftier in terms of the

Lynnette:

energetic weight, is when they slow down and stop whether they're

Lynnette:

stopping to move backwards or forward.

Lynnette:

So around that date of January 15th, just pay attention to what's going on.

Lynnette:

Maybe five days before.

Lynnette:

Five days after.

Lynnette:

I know it's particularly uncanny, like when Pluto stations,

Lynnette:

there's more like volcanoes and earthquakes and things like that.

Lynnette:

I'm not sure what the alignment is with Uranus, but I can imagine it has to

Lynnette:

do with electricity and surprises and.

Lynnette:

Unexpected things, so mm-hmm.

Lynnette:

and that would be on a collective level, if it's impacting you directly in a

Lynnette:

point in your chart that's talking to other planets, you can expect that too.

Lynnette:

But I think in general, when we're talking about these outer planets, it's

Lynnette:

more about the slowing down and stopping than it is the actual retrograde.

Dana:

I have January 22nd as when you're in a stationing.

Lynnette:

Correct?

Lynnette:

I said the wrong day.

Lynnette:

You're right.

Lynnette:

That's okay.

Lynnette:

That's okay.

Lynnette:

So, Station retrograde, August 24th.

Lynnette:

Station's direct.

Lynnette:

January 22nd, clears the shadow May 9th.

Lynnette:

Got it.

Dana:

And like you said, we're probably, unless it's aspecting something in your

Dana:

chart, you're probably really not going to notice it personally, but in the

Dana:

news or something like that, you might.

Dana:

Now I'm gonna be paying attention to this one because Uranus will be at 14 degrees,

Dana:

56 minutes and it will oppose my Pluto.

Dana:

As it stations, Pluto for me is at 1459, so within three minutes of my

Dana:

Pluto, it will be stationing direct, so I'll keep y'all posted on that.

Dana:

We'll see what happens.

Dana:

Huh?

Dana:

That is

Lynnette:

exciting.

Dana:

Is it?

Dana:

I mean, well, here's the thing.

Dana:

This is what I was gonna say before I realized that that was happening.

Dana:

I was very worried.

Dana:

Uranus opposite my Pluto.

Dana:

Mm-hmm.

Dana:

, I knew it was coming and as we keep saying, it's three times.

Dana:

Right?

Dana:

So this is the third and final time and.

Dana:

I really haven't noticed it that much at like, I was worried I was gonna

Dana:

be in financial ruin or like, well, I was just like, am I gonna lose my

Lynnette:

job?

Lynnette:

What's all possibilities?

Lynnette:

Go through your head,

Lynnette:

. Dana: I am.

Lynnette:

I don't know about you, but I immediately go to the worst case,

Lynnette:

especially when Pluto's involved.

Lynnette:

I'm like, all right, like bat battle down the hatches.

Lynnette:

I don't know what that phrase is, but, um, Batten, batten down bat.

Lynnette:

But that, okay.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

I've batten.

Lynnette:

Not a word I've ever used.

Lynnette:

Well, I think it's like a boat word, so it's

Lynnette:

like, hold on, I'm gonna look.

Lynnette:

It's the boat word.

Lynnette:

Well, it's like when you watch below deck and you're like,

Lynnette:

oh, see the bow yard line?

Lynnette:

To do or whatever.

Lynnette:

. Oh my God.

Lynnette:

You just like learn boat words.

Lynnette:

It is batten down the hatches to prepare for trouble.

Lynnette:

Okay.

Lynnette:

Welcome to your Google for the day,

Dana:

Now we know.

Dana:

Batten down the hatches.

Dana:

That's what I felt like I had to do with this transit and I.

Dana:

It's been more so about, so I'll just tell everybody like, this is happening

Dana:

for me on my second and eighth house axis, and that's why I was worried

Dana:

about debt and money with this transit.

Dana:

But I will say like I have taken on more debt, but I've also made more money.

Dana:

and it's been more so about the, what's come up with Pluto around

Dana:

what I think about money and also like karmic obligations, like what

Dana:

I, because when I think about the eighth house, like, you know, taxes

Dana:

and like, act like physical debt is what comes to mind, but it is totally.

Dana:

Your karmic debt to like who you feel indebted to.

Dana:

And I have really been working through that a lot.

Dana:

Like what do I owe people and what do I not owe people?

Dana:

So it's been more about boundaries and things like that.

Dana:

So I just wanna say for anybody else who's got like a personal planet, or not

Dana:

a personal planet, but a something in your birth chart that's aspecting Uranus here.

Dana:

Again, don't be afraid.

Dana:

It's, it's all for you.

Lynnette:

Yeah, I, I think.

Lynnette:

That's the danger of just knowing enough astrology to get yourself into trouble.

Lynnette:

And I'm not saying that's you because you obviously know a lot,

Lynnette:

but , like for people who are just learning and like anything that

Lynnette:

has to do with Pluto, especially like, it's like, ah, terrifying.

Lynnette:

Right?

Lynnette:

And so I think what you said, it's, it's happening for you.

Lynnette:

Like Pluto is the planet of transformation and it's not always a bad thing.

Lynnette:

And I think we have to.

Lynnette:

Remember that we always have a choice with how we're going

Lynnette:

to work with these aspects.

Lynnette:

Astrology is the gift that helps us know that we're gonna

Lynnette:

have these energies in play.

Lynnette:

Right?

Lynnette:

So having a roadmap to be like, Hey.

Lynnette:

, you might be having some stuff going on.

Lynnette:

in your right houses of money and debt like probably helped you to, you

Lynnette:

know, I know we all go through the worst case scenarios and all of that

Lynnette:

stuff, but at least you were prepared to batten down the hatches, which

Lynnette:

you ultimately didn't need to do.

Lynnette:

Right?

Lynnette:

Right.

Lynnette:

And more

Dana:

so it was like, There were things like, for instance,

Dana:

my husband sleeps like shit.

Dana:

And as I've been pregnant, I've been snoring a lot, and neither of us

Dana:

have been sleeping very well, so we decided to buy a sleep number bed.

Dana:

Well, those things are very expensive, and so anyway, we financed

Dana:

it and I'm like, okay, Pluto.

Dana:

Uranus, like I it.

Dana:

. I still did it.

Dana:

You know what I mean?

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

I, I didn't like change the way I lived my life because of it necessarily.

Dana:

I, in that moment.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

I was just like, well, this makes sense.

Dana:

Like, yeah.

Dana:

And it was worth it to me.

Dana:

You know what I mean?

Lynnette:

Are you sleeping better?

Dana:

I, between the sleep number and the pregnancy pillow, I like go to a different

Dana:

dimension when you sleep, it's amazing.

Dana:

Highly recommend.

Lynnette:

But you were, it was a surprise that you guys weren't sleeping.

Lynnette:

. That's

Dana:

true.

Dana:

That is true.

Dana:

And I think, you know, to, to your point about it being more on a collective

Dana:

level, these outer planets, there have been some things with Uranus

Dana:

and Taurus that have been coming up with this retrograde, and the two

Dana:

that came to mind for me were like, and I don't know a ton about Bitcoin,

Dana:

but the value of Bitcoin has plum.

Dana:

In NFTs and things like this, right?

Dana:

Like there's been a huge change in the value of these things.

Dana:

And something else that came to mind that I'm definitely like more

Dana:

invested in because it affects me is the student loan forgiveness.

Dana:

Mm-hmm.

Dana:

. Uh, so in, at the end of August, I wanna say we got another extension, and I

Dana:

believe that was also around the time when they announced they were gonna forgive

Dana:

10 or 20 K depending on your situation.

Dana:

And of course, if you've been following this, you know, now it's in litigation.

Dana:

They're trying, it's going to the Supreme Court it, and they're

Dana:

supposed to hear it in February.

Dana:

So I am hopeful with Uranus being direct, you know, and perhaps.

Dana:

That will be a freedom in the realm of money for a lot of people.

Dana:

Like that would be amazing.

Dana:

I selfishly really want

Lynnette:

that to happen, but if they could just keep extending it, that would

Dana:

be great.

Dana:

Honestly, like that's been the, for people who are in public

Dana:

service loan forgiveness.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

That work for a government agency like me, it's been the best because.

Dana:

All of these delayed payments have counted towards my 10 years, so Wow.

Dana:

Like, yeah, just keep extending it.

Dana:

It's fine with me, but also like you can't forgive working class people

Dana:

10 or 20 K and like, I don't know, it blows my mind, but I won't go there.

Lynnette:

So Uranus.

Lynnette:

Is making moves very slowly.

Lynnette:

Yes, . Yes.

Lynnette:

We'll see what happens with everyone's student loans and keep an eye out

Lynnette:

for the time around January 22nd.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Dana:

Is there anything else Lynette?

Lynnette:

We were gonna talk about the ingress.

Lynnette:

Venus, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Lynnette:

Do you wanna take it?

Lynnette:

Sure,

Dana:

yeah.

Dana:

I'll take it.

Dana:

Take.

Dana:

I'll take it.

Dana:

So we have Venus entering Aquarius on January 2nd, and then Venus will

Dana:

enter Pisces, which is the sign of her exaltation on January 26th.

Dana:

So she is gonna zip right through Aquarius.

Dana:

And from a dignity standpoint, Venus is neutral in Aquarius, it's Saturn

Dana:

sign, and Saturn is in Aquarius right now and will be at that time.

Dana:

, you know, it's an austere kind of maybe serious Venus.

Dana:

Like I take my beauty seriously.

Dana:

It feels like a good moment for, I, we keep talking about New Year's

Dana:

resolutions, but like mm-hmm.

Dana:

if you've got some kind of like aesthetic resolution of any kind, not

Dana:

just like your physical appearance, but like your house, like if you wanna.

Dana:

set up any kind of foundation for like a wellness routine or a beauty routine.

Dana:

Like it could be a great time for that as well as something

Dana:

for your relationships, right?

Dana:

Like getting serious in your relationships.

Lynnette:

I also think, again, going back to the theme of like

Lynnette:

reviewing your New Year's resolutions, Aquarius gives you that distance, so.

Lynnette:

To your point about if you want to make a change in your home or your

Lynnette:

routine or anything like Venus in Aquarius is a really good time to, to

Lynnette:

take your step back and see like what needs to be changed and look at it

Lynnette:

from like a impartial observer kind of

Dana:

perspective.

Dana:

Yes.

Dana:

That's the beauty of Saturn to me.

Dana:

You know, it, it's.

Dana:

Maligned, like everybody like is afraid of Saturn.

Dana:

Kind of like Pluto.

Dana:

But there's some, you can be more objective.

Dana:

Mm-hmm.

Dana:

in a Saturn

Lynnette:

world sign, I think.

Lynnette:

And just really quickly, for anyone who doesn't understand, will you explain

Lynnette:

why you're talking about Saturn?

Lynnette:

Yes.

Dana:

When we're talking about Venus, , yes, yes, yes, yes.

Dana:

So, so in different, depending on like your school of thought with astrology,

Dana:

we might differ on this and that's.

Dana:

Essentially every sign, every sedia sign is ruled by a planet.

Dana:

And in traditional astrology for Aquarius, that planet is Saturn.

Dana:

Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius.

Dana:

In modern astrology, you'll hear people say, Uranus rules Aquarius.

Dana:

And again, my thought is astrology is divination, and what that means is, , the

Dana:

way you do it is going to work if you have a relationship with the planets.

Dana:

So Lynette might say Uranus rules, Aquarius.

Dana:

I might say Saturn.

Dana:

We can both get to the same conclusion because we have, that's the

Dana:

relationship we have with the planets.

Dana:

So we're talking about Saturn or I'm talking about Saturn because

Dana:

we're in Aquarius, which is one of Saturn's home signs, the way I

Dana:

practice and Saturn's in Aquarius.

Dana:

Venus is going to conjoin Saturn on January 22nd.

Dana:

Actually the same day that Uranus

Lynnette:

station strike.

Lynnette:

What an interesting pair.

Lynnette:

. Yeah.

Dana:

So that'll be really, I'm

Lynnette:

sorry.

Lynnette:

So maybe Uranus will tie in a little bit more.

Lynnette:

Like I, I tend to fall back to traditional rulerships, but like if it's

Lynnette:

conjunct or what was it to Uranus, if Uranus is in play like very closely,

Lynnette:

that has, that's gonna be something.

Dana:

Yeah, it's so, it's a whole sign square.

Dana:

Oh, okay.

Dana:

But, we'll, yeah, we'll see what, we'll see.

Dana:

So anyway, don't get too hung up on Saturns.

Dana:

I, if that's confusing.

Dana:

Don't worry about it.

Dana:

I think it's helpful to think about the planet that's ruling that sign,

Dana:

cuz it gives you more of an idea of the flavor of that transit.

Dana:

Mm-hmm.

Dana:

. Lynnette: I agree.

Dana:

Thank you for explaining that.

Dana:

Hey, Venus and Pisces, I'm, this is my natal Venus placement, so I love it.

Dana:

Love it.

Dana:

But also it's the sign of Venus's exaltation, which means that

Dana:

Venus is like celebrated here.

Dana:

It's a place where Venus does really well.

Dana:

And if we think about why that is, Venus is all about harmony and

Dana:

relating, and Pisces being mutable.

Dana:

Water is very conducive to that . It's easy to get along when we're in Pisces

Dana:

and when Venus is in Pisces in part.

Lynnette:

and I feel like exaltation is like, so there's domicile and then

Lynnette:

there's exaltation, and I feel like exaltation is like when you're the guest

Lynnette:

at a party that someone's hosting for you.

Lynnette:

Like everyone's just really excited to see you . So I think, yes, that's

Lynnette:

the vibe, especially for Venus, right?

Lynnette:

Who.

Lynnette:

to be fond over

Lynnette:

Totally.

Lynnette:

That that's, I think it's a chance for us all to fond over ourselves

Lynnette:

and to fond o over other people and just like spread the good vibes.

Lynnette:

I love that.

Lynnette:

See someone walking in the parking lot who looks nice, compliment them

Lynnette:

on their outfit or whatever cat.

Dana:

Call 'em . Sure.

Dana:

No, no, don't do that.

Dana:

. I wish I could

Lynnette:

do that.

Lynnette:

Whistle.

Lynnette:

Uh, my mom can, I

Dana:

can't.

Dana:

I can't.

Dana:

. But if you can, you know, maybe you'll want to in Venus.

Dana:

in Venus is in PIs.

Lynnette:

Yeah.

Lynnette:

Get everyone's attention and then be like, you are all amazing , you've got this.

Lynnette:

Keep up the

Dana:

good work.

Dana:

Yeah, . But that honestly is probably like the underlying energy of the

Dana:

whole transit of Venus being in Pisces.

Dana:

So live it up, embrace it.

Lynnette:

How long is Venus in Pisces?

Lynnette:

Because is she, that's what I was just wondering.

Lynnette:

February 20th.

Lynnette:

Man, she is flying.

Dana:

It's quick and yeah.

Dana:

And Venus enters Aries.

Dana:

That's a very different energy.

Dana:

So we'll talk about that next

Lynnette:

month.

Lynnette:

, right?

Lynnette:

That's right.

Lynnette:

All right.

Lynnette:

Did we cover everything?

Lynnette:

Gosh,

Dana:

I think we did.

Dana:

We really like covered the whole month.

Dana:

I think.

Dana:

I

Lynnette:

know.

Lynnette:

And.

Lynnette:

again, we did not cover everything because there are literally hundreds

Lynnette:

of transits every month, and that's not what we're doing here.

Dana:

Yeah.

Dana:

We're not about information overload, info dumping, like get in, get out with the

Dana:

key points and, and we did cover like a lot of information actually, but I would

Dana:

say if you want like a Spark Notes kind of summary for the end, it's, we've got.

Dana:

Station directs with Mercury, Mars, and Uranus.

Dana:

And then Venus is ingressing into both Aquarius and Pisces.

Dana:

So with each of those retrogrades and Stationing directs, there's

Dana:

some stuff to review and some

Lynnette:

key date.

Lynnette:

And we kind of talked about the Sun moving into Aquarius.

Lynnette:

That is on January 20th.

Lynnette:

So that'll be the beginning of Aquarius season.

Lynnette:

Again, that's just that energetic shift from achievement centered

Lynnette:

Capricorn to maybe a little more detached, checking things out,

Lynnette:

trying new things in a new way.

Lynnette:

Unique Aquarius.

Dana:

We love it.

Dana:

Lynette's an

Lynnette:

Aquarius.

Lynnette:

Sam, I am an Aquarius.

Lynnette:

Yes, and I'm very excited.

Lynnette:

Oh, well, I don't really care about Mercury retrogrades as much,

Lynnette:

but it is clearing its shadow on February 7th on my birthday.

Lynnette:

Yes,

Dana:

everyone, I'll take it.

Dana:

Wish Lynette a happy birthday on February 7th,

Lynnette:

but this is

Dana:

the January forecast . I know, but like it's coming.

Dana:

So everybody,

Lynnette:

mark your calendar for

Dana:

February 7th.

Dana:

You could find Lynnette at Cosmic Moves on Instagram.

Lynnette:

There's a.in there.

Lynnette:

I tried really hard to get cosmic moves, but

Dana:

Okay.

Dana:

At cosmic dot moves.

Dana:

And then cosmic moves.com.

Lynnette:

Yes.

Lynnette:

Find Dana at Self-Help Witch.

Lynnette:

No Dots On the Dots.

Lynnette:

No dots.

Lynnette:

Straight up and also Self-help witch.com.

Lynnette:

Yes.

Lynnette:

Yes.

Lynnette:

This was fun.

Lynnette:

It was fun.

Lynnette:

I, I think we'll do it again for February.

Lynnette:

Yay.

Lynnette:

Okay, good.

Lynnette:

Well, everyone have a great January.

Lynnette:

Don't stress about your New Year's resolution.

Lynnette:

Unless you're a Capricorn, cuz you're gonna do it anyway.

Lynnette:

. Just kidding.

Lynnette:

I'm stereotyping.

Lynnette:

But yeah.

Lynnette:

Enjoy the month.

Lynnette:

Yep.

Lynnette:

We'll see you next month.

Dana:

Bye.

Lynnette:

Bye.

Lynnette:

Wasn't that so fun.

Lynnette:

Dana and I had so much fun recording it.

Lynnette:

I hope you had some much fun listening to it.

Lynnette:

Astrology does not have to be.

Lynnette:

Too much.

Lynnette:

Uh, for me.

Lynnette:

Sometimes it gets to the point where there's so many transits

Lynnette:

and there's so much going on.

Lynnette:

That this was a really good way for me to kind of reenter.

Lynnette:

Keeping an eye on things, because it was like, okay, what are the

Lynnette:

big energies that are shifting?

Lynnette:

And we all know that the retrogrades are very popular.

Lynnette:

And we all enjoy talking about them.

Lynnette:

but it's a really helpful context for us to just understand, is the energy moving

Lynnette:

forward or is the energy moving backward?

Lynnette:

And.

Lynnette:

To just have these two major categories to pay attention to.

Lynnette:

To, to really see.

Lynnette:

What.

Lynnette:

Is the collective energy feeling.

Lynnette:

And then how does that make me feel, is such a nice way.

Lynnette:

To just observe and to just be with astrology and not have

Lynnette:

to think about it too much.

Lynnette:

So.

Lynnette:

It's fun.

Lynnette:

It's easy.

Lynnette:

It's not overwhelming.

Lynnette:

And I hope that you will follow along with my journey of

Lynnette:

rediscovering astrology and kind of.

Lynnette:

Looking at it with beginner's eyes, if you will.

Lynnette:

in terms of how to integrate it into your life.

Lynnette:

I've been sharing a little bit about what I'm doing on Instagram.

Lynnette:

I will be sharing it in my newsletter.

Lynnette:

And you can sign up for both of those.

Lynnette:

Well, hopefully you already signed up for Instagram.

Lynnette:

Or not.

Lynnette:

You've made that decision in your life.

Lynnette:

but my Instagram is @cosmic.Moves and you can sign up for my

Lynnette:

newsletter@cosmicmoves.com.

Lynnette:

And.

Lynnette:

Please follow Dana.

Lynnette:

She is a gem of a human being and.

Lynnette:

She shares.

Lynnette:

A lot more helpful astrology information than I do on social media.

Lynnette:

she is @selfhelpwitch, and we can all learn so much from her.

Lynnette:

I love her content.

Lynnette:

She's very entertaining.

Lynnette:

And very educational.

Lynnette:

She's also a teacher.

Lynnette:

So that is why I learn so much from her because her style

Lynnette:

just really is relatable.

Lynnette:

We cannot wait to keep producing these forecasts every month.

Lynnette:

I'm super excited.

Lynnette:

Let us know what's working for you.

Lynnette:

Let us know.

Lynnette:

What's not.

Lynnette:

Thank you so much for listening.

Lynnette:

I'm so grateful to you.

Lynnette:

I'm so excited to be stepping into this new 2023.

Lynnette:

Year with all of you and wherever you are, here's wishing you a stellar day.
